Privacy Policy

Orb Meditation is designed with privacy at its core. We collect the absolute minimum data necessary to deliver the app experience. We do not sell, share, or monetise your personal information. We do not run ads. We do not track you across other apps or websites.

On the iOS/macOS app: By default, meditation data, orb state, absorption history, and preferences are stored locally on your device using SwiftData and on-device storage. We do not have access to this data.

Optional iCloud sync: If you enable “Sync with iCloud” in Settings, your orb state and meditation progress are synced across your devices via Apple's iCloud and CloudKit. This data is stored in your private iCloud account, not on our servers. We cannot read it.

Waitlist: If you join the launch waitlist on our website, we collect your email address solely to notify you when the app is available. You can unsubscribe from those emails at any time.

Purchases: In-app purchases are processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. We do not receive or store your payment information.

On the website: We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused tool that does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and is fully GDPR compliant. We see aggregate page views only.

Merchandise: If you purchase merchandise, Stripe processes your payment. We receive your name, email, and shipping address solely for order fulfilment.

If you enable daily reminders, notification scheduling is handled entirely on your device. We do not use push notification servers. No notification tokens are transmitted to us.

Orb Meditation is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under this age. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information.

App data on your device is under your control. You can delete the app to remove local data. If iCloud sync is enabled, you can manage synced data through your Apple ID and iCloud settings. Waitlist emails can be removed by unsubscribing or contacting us.

Under GDPR and similar regulations, you have the right to access, rectify, or erase your personal data. Contact us to exercise these rights.

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Significant changes will be noted with an updated date at the top of this page.
